6.0Great location and parking. Lodge staff was friendly and helpful. The property needs to be better maintained by the property owners. For the price I would expect more.
− The owners need to do some basic general maintenance on the property to support a safe and clean environment for guests and staff.

− Could have been cleaner. Hair in bathrooms and a very large suspicious stain on the carpet in our bedroom. Was very expensive for what we received.

− My partner and I booked ourselves into Rusutsu Powder Lodge while on a road trip to ski in the area. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The bathrooms and common areas were dirty, there was a strong smell of food in the lounge, the room was very small and unwelcoming, and it wasn’t possible to open the window. There was also nowhere to dry wet ski clothes. Considering the price, this did not feel like good value for money. At a significantly lower price point, it might have been acceptable, but compared to other places we stayed in the area, it fell short. We were supposed to stay three nights but left after two.
