A peaceful oasis close to Kandy that exceeded our expectations

We loved our stay here. The accommodation is amazing, so clean and spacious and the room was enormous with a balcony with incredible views. Whilst it is minutes from the busy centre of Kandy, you feel like you are a million miles away in the peace and quiet. The food was incredible and there was so much if it. After an enormous breakfast we did not need to eat all day. The Owner was extremely kind and helpful and made us feel welcome right away. On our first night we watched a massive thunderstorm from our balcony with thunder and lightening over Kandy, it was fantastic! The bed was really big and comfortable and the bathroom was also enormous. The whole room exceeded our expectations. We had our breakfast outside on our own in the pretty courtyard with views across Kandy. It was so peaceful. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Gannoru Hatana Villa during our time in Kandy, and honestly, it couldn’t have been better! The place is absolutely gorgeous – the style is spot-on. It’s super cozy and has such a relaxing atmosphere. What really made it special, though, was the host. He was so kind and welcoming, always checking in to make sure we were having the best time. They offered us amazing breakfast, prepared coffe and tea during our stay. Kandy city center is easy to access, only 10 min Tuk Tuk. The villa is clean and located in a quiet place. If you’re looking for a beautiful place to stay with amazing vibes and awesome hospitality, Gannoru Hatana Villa we would definately reccomend.

Ruan and his team are really wonderful and really kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at Gannoru Hatana Villa as a family of four and were very happy with the room, clean environment and the hospitality. We would return any time!

The rooms are beautiful,breakfast is like a lunch,lots of food,the place is really great and 5 minutes to the city center by car. Ruan is the best person in Sri Lanka He did the best for us Thank you Ruan🥰

I’m very lucky to be able to travel around the world, so I’ve stayed at over 500 hotels in the last 2/3 years. Gannoru Villas has been one of my favorite stays of all of these. Seriously. Perfectly situated on a small hill near the city, super close to everything but far away where it’s so peaceful and very quiet! The sunset are incredible 🌅 They just opened around six months ago so that’s why there’s not that many reviews. Don’t hesitate, book this place. You won’t regret it.
