Perfect location to explore Bergen. The Funicular is literally steps from your front door. The waterfront is about a 2 minute walk. Here you will find lots of restaurants, bars and the Fjord tours. The hop on hop off bus stops about 50 metres away. The apartment is beautiful and very clean. It is really well stocked if you want to cook your own meals. The shower is to die for..... the water pressure was fabulous. The host is very quick with responses and easy to deal with.

− This is not a criticism because it was made very clear when booking BUT the stairs are a challenge. We made sure we only had small carry-on bags but if you have full size luggage it could be difficult.

Overall, the perfect place for us to stay during our trip to Bergen!

Key pickup was exactly as described in the check in directions, and the accompanying photos were also helpful in this process. The apartment was extremely spacious and as described in the posting. The refrigerator also had a freezer with a small ice tray. Additionally in one of the cupboards there were some basics of salt, pepper, oil, tinfoil, coffee, filters (We left behind some tea & honey to contribute this this) Paper towels, hand towels were also available to use as was supplies for doing dishes and using the dishwasher. Bathroom was spacious and had a blow dryer to use. Rooms had nice curtains for keeping the light out given the long summer daylight. We ended up eating out for all our meals, but the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The location could not be better. Close to all the main attractions (literally steps away from Floibanen funicular, very short walk to Bryggen), and plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, (the famous Trekroneren hotdog stand was also just down the road), and nearby 7-eleven. Even with its great location, it was quiet at night. Our apartment was up one flight of stairs and there is no elevator so would keep that in mind if accessibility/mobility is a concern at all for your group. Check out process was very easy (felt too simple & like we were forgetting something compared to our usual AirBNB check outs back home in the states). Did message the hosts only once during our stay to confirm check out process & their response was prompt. Overall, a really lovely & spacious stay for our days in Bergen. Would 100% stay here again.

− Wish there would have been a second set of keys, so that if our group split up we could still both easily access the apartment. I think a small manual regarding other odds/ends of the apartment or recommended places from the hosts would have been a nice touch as well. However, this is nothing that truly affected our stay.
