Spacious, Comfortable Villa but Some Facilities Could Be Improved

The villa was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Air conditioning in each room was excellent, especially in the hot weather. The kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances, and the balcony overlooking the golf course was a lovely place to relax. The beds were very comfortable and a good king size.

− The main downside was the distance from the villa to the pool, which involved a bit of a walk downhill and back up. Although the description mentioned a private pool, it was actually shared with several other villas. The smart TV was quite outdated with no casting capability, and the Foxtel was not working. An upgraded smart TV or Chromecast would be a welcome improvement. The welcome book could also be updated to clearly show which pool guests are able to use within the complex, as well as provide clearer instructions on how to operate appliances such as the oven and TV. It was also disappointing that there was no access to the Cypress Lakes main pool and spa at the main reception complex, despite this being on an Oaks property. The shuttle bus was not available if you wanted to visit the restaurant at reception or grab a wine tour and the walk back to the villa from reception was long and steep.

The villa was great, good location and perfect for two couples as each room had seperate bathrooms

We loved the views from the balcony over golf course and the Valley, location was close to Hunter Valley Gardens and easy driving to local wineries.

− Fan didn’t work well in 2nd bedroom and there were some pipe water noises from apartment above us, noisy when we were getting to sleep, may have been dishwasher on, fortunately it wasn’t constant.

Native bushland surrounding the villa

− Roof leaked on the deck when it rained and all the seating got soaked, we could not use the deck. Villa advertised private pool but the pool was a shared communal with all the other 100 units on site, and a long way away from the unit, not as advertised. BBQ plate was rusty when we went to use and the hand rail to the units was broken

− There was something looks like mold in bathroom floor ensuite. We could also not get the dishwasher to work
