7.0Die Unterkunft ist schön abgelegen von sämtlichem Trubel gelegen. Ist grundsätzlich genau das richtige Ziel wenn man Ruhe und Entspannung will.
− Leider erst am Abreisetag habe ich entdeckt,dass im Wohnzimmer der Unterkunft ein offenbar massives Problem durch eintretende Feuchtigkeit hinter einem nicht in Benutzung befindlichen Holzofen besteht und es allem Anschein nach zu einer Schimmelbildung gekommen ist bzw. kommt. Den Vermieter damit konfrontiert, wurde mir direkt mitgeteilt „nene,das ist kein Schimmel, das ist nur eintretende Feuchtigkeit und ist ganz normal“. Ich empfehle dazu einfach nur jedem, sich mal mit den Thematiken „eintretende Feuchtigkeit, Kältebrücken in Gebäuden, dadurch bedingte Schimmelbildung und fachgerechte Sanierung“ zu beschäftigen. Leider ist in der näheren Nachbarschaft ein Grundstück, auf dem sich mehrere Hunde oftmals einen stundenlangen „Bellwettkampf“ liefern, was der Ruhe und Entspannung schon ein wenig entgegenwirkt.

7.0Beautiful house in cozy country living style, well equipped with lots of amenities, modern kitchen with everything you need, extras like laundry machine and dryer ,bath tube , big terrace with sun beds , lounge chairs and BBQ. All surrounded by a big garden with lush nature. Complete private atmosphere, the area is very calm and offers stunning views down to the city La Orotava and to the sea. Everything is well maintained and clean.
− The Finca is very remote , car is necessary to go out eating or taking breakfast. Yet the last 1,5 km from the main road up to the house are very steep with slopes exceeding the 20% including 2 very narrow turns. Make sure you have a small car like a Polo , Corsa etc otherwise it could be a big hassle. Walking this piece down and especially back up in the noon sun is kind of a workout. Slow WiFi in the house , 8-10 MBits / sec maximum. This is a pity because the main gate to the house operates only with the local network wireless, at 1 day the network was down and we had to climb the fence and leave the car behind. Nothing opened anymore , a safety box with an emergency key we couldn’t open neither due to an invalid code we were given. Somebody had to come up from Santa Cruz 1 hour driving to release us with an extra key. Sun arrives late around 11:30 and leaves early , so the terrace and BBQ is more suitable in summer time. Temperatures in January at this altitude from 600 meter above sea level drop fast. While the Finca is operated from the Ocean Rentals Group you gonna deal with different people before and during your stay, that lead in our case to some confusion.
To sum it up: we had an excellent stay, with an amazing view.
9.0The finca was perfectly equipped, with all the household utilities imaginable, and we could not wish for anything more. In addition, the location was superb.
