Me and my cousins stayed here for a few days as the final stop of our Neretva River trip, and it was an excellent choice. Komin is located right in the heart of the Delta area, which made it a perfect base for exploring the surroundings, from the mountains to the sea. All of this is within a 30 km radius. The landscape is truly unique: a wide, flat valley surrounded by mountains and rich, vibrant plant life that gives the whole area a slightly adventurous, off-the-beaten-path feel. The town itself is peaceful and charming. Exactly what we were looking for. The apartment was fantastic! It had everything we needed: AC in every room, a washing machine, and a fully equipped kitchen with even some basic ingredients provided, like olive oil, pasta, rice, and coffee. The balcony was one of our favorite spots, we loved sitting there with a morning coffee, soaking in the lush, vivid nature around us. It must be especially beautiful during the tangerine harvest in October. Parking was always available right in front of the house, and the local bar and shop were just a 2–3 minute walk away. There’s no shortage of activities either. We cycled through the delta fields, enjoyed the unique local fauna, visited Medugorje and Mostar in nearby Bosnia, explored kitesurfing spots, and spent time on the beautiful beaches of the Makarska Riviera. The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive, offering suggestions and making sure we felt welcome. You could really sense their genuine interest in making our stay enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful base in a special part of Croatia.
