Ένα υπέροχο μεσαιωνικό χωριό, που διατηρεί την αρχική μορφή του. Τα σπίτια, όσα είναι ανακαινισμένα, σέβονται την ιδιαίτερη αρχιτεκτονική του τόπου. Χωριό για τους λάτρεις της αρχιτεκτονικής και της πέτρας!!

location was perfect, house as well. host very easy to reach and available

− i didn't understand inititially that google maps direction bring you to the wrong location. so instead of following directly the indications i was given (my fault) i followed google maps.

Our stay at Olympi

The house is excelent. It has two bedrooms with 2 large beds. It has everything you need for a cozy stay. Beds are comfortable and there is warm water all the time. Its newly renovated and obviously done with great care. Both rooms have AC, but they werent needed as it wasn't hot inside at all even in peak of the sunny day. All windows and even door to the balcony have mosquito nets which is a plus. Public parking is near-by and you can leave your car there. Olympi is a quiet village placed between Mesta and Pyrgi but doesn't attract the tourists so we had plenty of rest. You can visit both of those 2 places, they are worth it. The old lady in the street below had a canary and a european goldfinch, you wake up with them singing. There is no market in Olympi so bring everything with you. In Pyrgi you have a small market as well as in Mesta. One thing to note, the bathroom is accesed through kitchen which can only be accessed through one of the bedrooms. This wasn't an issue for us, as we traveled as a family, but just to keep it in mind.

the location was perfect.

− we were 2 couples and there are 2 bedrooms but the toilet and bathroom is inside one of the bedrooms, so if you are staying in the other bedroom, you have to go inside the second bedroom to reach the toilet. it wasnt obvious from the photos. so this was destroying the people who are staying in the bedroom with the toilet specially during the night. but when we told this to the house owner, she was very helpful and she offered us another house after we stayed a night. this was a great option for us and we enjoyed our stay with our friends a lot . the location was perfect for us. she also sent us very detailed videos and photos showing where both houses are and how we can reach. she was fast in answering all our messages. we ll definitely choose this place ( but the second house :) ) once we come to chios again.
