We had a truly wonderful stay at Louise’s Birdhouse in Lotopā. From the moment we reached out with questions before our arrival, Louise was gracious, warm, and incredibly helpful. On our first night—despite a few unrelated travel hiccups—she went out of her way to support us, making us feel welcome and cared for. The next morning, we were surprised and delighted to find a beautifully prepared breakfast waiting for us: suafa’i, vaisalo, koko alaisa, koko kopai, and a fresh fruit platter with papaya, banana, oranges, and starfruit. Everything was delicious and so generously provided—it felt like a real taste of Samoan hospitality. When my mother arrived the following afternoon, Louise again arranged for her to receive some local food. We felt truly blessed and spoiled! The BBQ spot at the front of the property was another highlight, offering fresh oka, cooked bananas, sapasui, and a variety of BBQ meats—authentic and delicious! The location is very convenient—right next to Frankies Supermarket, with a Digicel stand outside, and close to a gym, laundromat, cafes, and other shops. Just a note for future guests: while the listing mentions Vaitele, the actual location is Lotopā. There’s also a Frankies in Vaitele, so to avoid confusion, it’s best to contact Louise for directions before you arrive. We would have loved to stay longer, and if we ever return to Samoa, Louise’s Birdhouse will be at the top of our list. Thank you, Louise and family, for your kindness and hospitality. We had a lovely time! Samoa was just the perfect first destination of our lengthy travels, and our time at your property was an amazing start to it all. Loved the fact that Louise and her family were open to changes and flexibility as last minute changes on our trip dates. Thank you Louise and family loved our short stay and was very convenient as we had family around the corner in Tulaele, wedding at Manumailagi on the same road and bridal bnb also on the same road further up. But the best was the BBQ we had on arrival and day after, just couldn't get enough of it....definitely the 👌 in 🇼🇸

Bird house all you need 5 min to town BBQ in front best in Samoa and we did try a lot of Bbq none come close loved the house aircon 2 toilets and shower supermarket and laundry walking distance I could go on and on but definitely will be coming back and accommodate 9 of us

I was notify by the owner earlier before we arrived the cottage is ready for us. The place is clean and comfortable during our stay. The BBQ takeaway right infront of the cottage so you don't need to go out for lunch and dinner very tasty and beautiful menu. Our staying in Samoa Home was awesome. Highly recommended Samoa Home if you and your family looking for a better and comfortable place to stay. Gb
