The location was exceptional. Easy walking distance to everything, and right in the middle of Old Town. This is a true Dutch vertical house, so there are stairs everywhere!. It was wonderful to experience this. I loved the stairs!, but it does make hauling large, heavy suitcases difficult. There are 5 stairs to get into the building door, about 12 stairs inside to get to the apartment door, about 12 stairs to get up to the apartment after you get in, and about 12 more to get up to the bedrooms. Personally, I found it all very charming and different. The apartment is very, very comfortable, and well furnished and clean.

− The directions to the apartment once you got the keys were a little vague. They should tell you to go up the stairs to the door on your right to 11. The keys are at the door to the basement apartment, which was confusing. The lady who ran the adjacent business was somewhat upset that we were trying our keys in different doors to figure it out.

the living room is very comfortable and fulfills all my imaginations about reading in a nice cozy room in europe beside a window that faces river and trees

We loved everything, our only notes would be throw blankets for the living room, and chairs for the patio.

Perfect quiet area, close to all the sights and hustle bustle of the city. Beds were comfortable, fans provided during the heat.
