Comfortable cabin - with amazing views and great location

The location was amazing - views out to the fjord and the marshland in front of the house; it was fantastic to look out at the barnacle geese and goslings feeding every day - and bird watch in the midnight sun; we even saw an arctic fox! 8 minute walk to the Radisson Blu where most of the tour pick ups (and the airport shuttle) go from Spacious interior - with everything we needed and a comfy sofa and armchair - 2 minute walk to the recycling. Blackout blinds in the bedroom (but would still say bring an eye mask to block out the sun completely) Dishwasher and tablets (no effort holiday!)

− Keysafe was very stiff and a bit tricky: a couple of times we wondered if it was ever going to open! We told our host, and he sent someone to look at it, but it needed replacing, but as it was coming from the mainland, the new one didn't arrive during our stay. Upper bedrooms don't have much head height - I'm 5'6" and banged my head getting into bed - beware The stairs are alternate foot attic-style steps, and not for the faint hearted! The bathroom lighting is temperamental - sometimes the light brightens, sometimes you shower in gloom!

Comfortable and cosy house with lovely fiord outlook.

Fantastic spot overlooking the fiord and house is very comfortable and we'll equipped. We didn't meet our hosts but couldn't have been more helpful, allowing us a late afternoon check out to meet our boat. We were very happy.

Séjour incroyable dans un appartement magnifique !

Nous avons passé une semaine incroyable au Svalbard dans un appartement magnifique. Nous avons tout aimé et la vue depuis le salon est à couper le souffle ! Ce logement est très bien équipé et bénéficie d'une situation très calme en bordure de l'hypercentre de Longyearbyen. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute pour profiter de la nature incroyable du Svalbard à une autre saison !

Wonderful view and excellent facilities. Plenty of space

− Struggled a bit with controlling the heating. An instruction sheet would be cool, especially for us newbies to the heating system :)

Stunning property and great host

The whole trip including the property was amazing! The host was friendly and approachable - giving much appreciated tips and advice. Property was stunning with all the modern amenities. 10 min walk to town and pick up points for all our activities. Would defo recommend this place.
