1.0− Very noisy as there was a wake going on, loud music inside and outside. We ended up having to book a room at another hotel, no offer of a refund. The short time we were in the room (about 10 minutes) it looked a bit run down and grubby, should have read the other reviews before I booked it, lesson learnt.

Clean tidy and I’d stay again.
7.0Convenient for where I needed to be. Free parking nearby and the owner was friendly. The room was clean and tidy and matched my expectations for the price I paid. No complaints.
− I stayed on one of the record breaking hot nights of the year which was not the owner’s fault, but a fan would have been great. The bed sheets were nylon cotton mix which, on a very hot night, were not great but, again, exceptional circumstances and no criticism; just feedback.

A great short stay, I will return on my next visit.
9.0Very friendly and helpful host, the key was available as soon as I arrived, the host introduced me to the room and the process of locking up the property so this was really helpful. The facilities good, the hotel clean and tidy, including the room, great value for money and a good location, the bus outside takes you into Truro, I was able to park easily. A great traditional pub with friendly locals so overall a great experience and I will return on my next visit.
