Was asked paying extra to get the capsule bed.Stuffy.
6.0Spacious common and dining room.Toilets are pretty clean during my stay.The kitchen is useable and it is pretty busy throughout the day.Quite a number of guests staying permanently.
− Everything seemed fine until I was assigned a dormitory room instead of capsule single room.I informed the staff I booked a capsule bed and he replied the price I paid was too low,if I wanted to get a capsule bed,I have to pay extra. Honestly speaking,I have been using Booking.com over 20 years and this is my very FIRST time encounter this situation,being asked to pay extra for what I have booked. I tried to explain to him I should get what I booked as stated in Booking.com as it was an agreement between three parties.He refused to change his decision and mentioned:"Booking.com doesn't understand the value of the capsule bed." Because of personal reason,I decided to pay the difference to stay privately.Don't get me wrong,if the price listed in the Booking.com is the price that he asked for I will still make the reservation.The frustrating part is I was not able to get what I have booked with the agreed price. I have to mention the heat I endured during my three nights stay.It was end of May and the weather grew day by day.There was a small vent in the capsule unfortunately it didn't help much to beat the stuffiness in there.I was left sweating while sleeping.
