Comfortable and great location

− The property was damp and smelled

Nice home in a good location, but not clean - and hostile neighbours who don't like holiday rentals

The location was great, with relative ease to get to all of the beautiful nearby beaches by car - within about 10-25 minutes. The home was also more spacious than expected, and was well equipped for self-catering.

− The home was very dirty when we arrived. Food crumbs all over the tables, dust everywhere, a very mouldy washing machine.. and it felt like it hadn't been cleaned properly prior to our arrival. There were also cockroaches everywhere. They appeared on us while we were sitting on the couch, at the dinner table, and all around the shared spaces. Not just 1 or 2, loads. Lastly, the neighbours were very hostile. They have a sign out the front of their home saying 'No to Airbnb' and clearly are not happy that this property is being rented. We were having a family dinner INSIDE at 7:30pm, with one kitchen window open. One of the group laughed, and the neighbours shouted super aggressively for us to 'Shut Up'. We did not feel very safe or comfortable after this. They were also playing loud music and had started a fire under the house, when we arrived. This felt like it was trying to deter us, and again was quite uncomfortable.

The house was spacious enough for 2 familes and kids. Everything inside was modern and comfy. The TV was huge and loved watching sports and movies. (Has pay tv too) The outdoor bbq seating area is nice and offers a relaxed view of the trees and birds. 5 minutes from the Bowlo, 10 mins from Blueys Beach, 20 mins from Seal Rocks

− Plenty of utensils but the kitchen cookware like pots just needs an upgrade. The bbq is abit old and could do with a replacement but it cooks fine

The location was very good and the rooms comfortable , spacious and quiet.

− The kitchen staff was disappointed, the pad was grassy and a lot Cockroaches in the kitchen and in the rooms , also the bbq was absolutely dirty we had to clean and bought some products for that.

Beautiful, quiet location. 5 minute walk to the lake and close to an independent grocer and a few cafes. Amenities are well maintained and the property was so easy to get into with the key and lockbox.

− Wish we'd stayed longer!
