The entire hotel staff is amazing, super helpful and pleasant. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The facilities have all you need for a vacation (2 pools, volley area, trampoline, ping pong table and more) The beach is great. The live music band that played was good. Bakari is the best barman ever and makes great cocktails!

Le confort du lieu, les prestations, l’emplacement, la vue mer

− Trop de démarchage dès qu’on met le pied sur la plage il faudrait voir à minimiser ça car ça ne donne pas envie d’aller à la plage Et également le fait (même si elles sont balayées quotidiennement) qu’il y ait beaucoup d’algues sur la plage ce qui gâche un peu la vision paradisiaque de la plage

We had an amazing holiday at Zanzibar Queen. The food was delicious, the staff were exemplary, and the beach is beautiful - would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar.

The hotel puts you in the holiday mood instantly. Well appointed rooms, well-maintained lawns, activities, 2 pools. Food was the standout...we took the half board and it was the best decision cos food was great, flavourful, new options each day, you could even swap to pizza (which our teens were very happy about), not all dinners were buffet styled but in spite of the curtailed a la carte there was enough variety and each dish came well plated and good portions...also there aren't any close by restaurant options either so venturing out at night is not the wisest. They have live music on alternative days and one night they put all their tables around the pool for a bbq night and it was the most gorgeous set up which most other hotels would normally have charged additional. The service is great. We went during the football fever ie world Cup and although there are no TVs in the rooms they set up a screening room and it was yet another hang out area.

− The sandy beach was really nice but due to the tides it isn't always possible to swim in the shallow sea. Also yr always approached by locals trying to sell you something, but that's across all beaches that we visited around. Driving distances to other sights are far and due to road conditions, the road is the major part of where you spend most of yr time on tours if you choose to base yrself in one place and take tours like we did. But coming back to the hotel each day felt great especially looking forward to the evening meal.

Everything with Queen was wonderful. Especially the staff, which fixed everything we wanted in a perfect manner. They were very polite and respectful. We also really appreciated that the hotel was clean all the time. The food was also amazing, and we always had the opportunity to choose to either try something new, or to eat a familiar dish. No matter which we chose, they were very good.
