Nicely furnished apartment in peacful but remote location.
9.0Stylish apartment with all the necessary equipment spotlessly clean. Peaceful surroundings. Private parking underneath. Friendly host. Cold water in the fridge and ice bag in the freezer.
− Location is remote, hard to find. Far from supermarkets. Building in which the apartment is on the first floor is in poor condition. Needs cleaning and maintenance. We are family of 4, but everything inside and out was 3. Tree chairs, 3 plates, 3 cups, etc. n

9.0The house is very comfortable and has almost everything you need. It is very nicely decorated. The bathroom felt luxurious. There is a flat screen, a bit small, but still enough to entertain you at night if you decide to stay in. There are 2 bedrooms, we only used the one however. The balcony has a very relaxing view, especially in the morning when the sun is on the other side. The location is a bit remote so you definitely need a car but within 3 minutes (by car) there are 2 restaurants and a mini market open until late. It was easy from the village of Armenoi to go to most of the beaches between Chania and Rethimno. Also, Chania is only 20 minutes away by car. The host, Antonia, was amazing. She was very polite, responsive and respectful. When we encountered an issue with the hot water she did her outmost to resolve it within the day.
− 1) There was no air-condition in the bedrooms. At night outside it gets a bit chilly but if you leave the alluminum shutters open then the sun will wake you up in the morning. If you keep them closed, it becomes quite hot during the night. Eventually we ended up using the air-condition from the living room to also cool the bedroom we used and that fixed the issue. 2) The mattress in the main bedroom is not the absolute best as it was a bit used on one side and since it is a big mattress the person sleeping on that side felt like they were on a slope.
