We loved our stay at Veny House, especially the location, its proximity to the beach, and its surroundings. The house has everything you need, it is very clean, and the bed is really comfortable. It has a very nice terrace to spend your mornings and evenings outside, which comes with a view of the castle. Highly recommend!

It was pleasant and comfortable — if it had also been quiet, it would have been a perfect holiday.

The house is located very close to the beach (around 200 meters) and includes a dedicated parking spot. It has strong water pressure and its own water heater, so we didn’t have to rely on shared facilities as in larger villas. The spacious balcony, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, and air conditioning (included in the price) made our stay very comfortable. It’s also well-suited for children. The house was spotless upon our arrival. The host was very kind, respectful of our privacy, and provided clear instructions regarding the key location and how to handle the furniture. The surrounding area is rich in greenery and natural beauty — a real treat if you don’t mind the occasional insect visitor. Despite the campsite nearby, we didn’t experience any noise from it after 23:00. Several shops, a butcher, a bakery, and multiple restaurants are within walking distance — we recommend Filoxenia for seafood and Alexander for chicken gyros. For sightseeing, the Byzantine castle of Platamon is only 5–10 minutes away by car, and several larger towns (Leptokaria, Nei Pori, Platamon) are close by if you’re looking for more activities and entertainment.

− We experienced two instances where a fuse burned out when multiple electrical appliances were used at the same time (e.g., the bathroom water heater and the induction stove). The host was informed and responded promptly — both times the issue was resolved within an hour of reporting. Sound insulation could be improved, and we were unable to fully close the window. We reported this to the host, so I expect it will be addressed quickly. The WiFi was pretty slow and it didn't work from time to time. As far as I've understood, the same network was used by the guests in the house across the road, so it might happen that the bandwidth wasn't enough for everybody in peak hours. Therefore, we had to use our own mobile data a lot. As mentioned, there was little to no noise from the nearby campsite. However, the main source of disturbance came from the house across the road (Musa Calliope), which accommodates many families and appears to have no rules regarding noise. The host of that property did not make any effort to ensure his guests respected quiet hours and, on one occasion, even joined them while they played loud music late into the night. Unfortunately, during our stay, several families with very loud and unruly children were staying there, and at times we were unable to sleep until after midnight.

Sve je bilo čisto, funkcionalno, udobno. Blizu su plaža, supermarket, prodavnica. Blizina Olimpa i mora čini klimu izuzetno prijatnom.
