Das Haus - insbesondere die Küche - waren sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. In unmittelbarer Nähe befanden sich einige schöne Tavernen. Das Haus befindet sich im Zentrum von Palekastro in ruhiger Lage.

− Die beiden Balkone sind verhältnismäßig klein und ohne Möbel, so dass wir diese leider nicht nutzen konnten. Die Parksituation in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Haus ist sehr schwierig, allerdings kann man auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz in der Nähe der Taverne Retro (3 Minuten Fussweg) parken.

Overall we were completely unsatisfied and did not stay. Hosts were unresponsive to us.

The property was clean. Stale, but clean.

− The hosts did not turn on the heat, so the property was very cold. The only way to turn on the heat was to have the key card in the card slot, so...if you left the property to go eat dinner, we couldn't start heating up the property until we returned. Wifi did not work. There were no towels left on any beds or in the bathrooms for us.

The Cosy House is everything a traveler is looking for in regard to convenience, comfort, and efficiency! Not only is this unit spacious enough for a 4+ family (we're American and tend to prefer the bigger homes, as we’re used to being spread out since our country is very large!), but it’s also clean (not just basically clean but spotless), which I appreciated, as our last rental was awful! I wish I had booked more stays at this unit. The owner(s) are very friendly and responsive yet still provide you the privacy you seek while traveling for long periods of time. The facilities are perfect, and the house is beautiful. I just wish I had booked longer here! The balconies are so beautiful, and that’s where I spent most of my time when in the house. The WiFi is fine—a tad spotty, but nothing too inconvenient for us. Our phones had no issues, nor did the iPads, but the streaming was a bit slow. However, this didn't bother us since we’re on vacation and don’t need TV! This is the perfect vacation home, and the location is gold. You’re in a medium-sized town with several shops (supermarkets, pharmacies, shopping, souvenirs, etc.) for anything you may need! This location and rental is truly gold! They should definitely up their prices, as this was very inexpensive yet was 5-star in every way for our stay. People are very friendly here too! Furthermore, for the history buffs and those interested in the archaeological sites, you have access to the Minoan archaeological site of Palekastro. This site is a must-see since it was both a substantial and significant Minoan city during the Late Minoan period. I, as an academic, prefer the smaller Minoan cities and sites, since they’re often ignored by tourists and are as significant (if not more so) to the historical record as the palace-temple sites. Both my children and husband repeatedly are asking why I didn’t book more days here!
