9.0Clean and comfortable room, good sized bathroom, perfectly cooked breakfasts. The smoked salmon and scrambled egg on Sunday was especially delicious. Good restaurant, pubs, cafes within easy walking distance. Welcoming, helpful, available but unobtrusive host. Good location for walks and access to the coast path.
We'd happily go there again.
9.0Breakfast was excellent, location was just what we expected. The room was very nice, perhaps a little cramped but there was ample storage for clothes etc. unlike some other hotels we have stayed in. Kevin, the boss, is a great character and couldn't do enough for us. We had a great time and were sorry to leave.
− A little more space in the room would be nice - but this is a very old property and a great deal of thought and ingenuity has gone into making it comfortable.
Comfortable B&B in convenient location
8.0This is a lovely old house, with attractive modern decor. The host was welcoming and helpful. Setting is in a traditional village square, with shop, church & two pubs for evening meals. Room & bed were comfortable, and the traditional but well-maintained bathroom had everything needed; shower over bath was good. Breakfasts were delicious with everything well-cooked and presented. There was usually parking directly in front of house. Location is very convenient for all the Lizard attractions.
− Not much. It wasn't a problem for me, but bathroom ceiling was very low, so when standing in shower, there wasn't much room above my head (I'm 5'7"). The room is not serviced daily but you can put out your tea tray & water bottle to be topped up as required.
Most enjoyable!
10.0Everything was perfect ... Comfortable, spotlessly clean, excellent breakfast and Kevin is a super friendly host. We can't say enough good things! Highly recommend and will definitely be staying here next time we are in the area.
