− We zijn een gezin van 5, er waren net wat te weinig (lig)stoelen daardoor. Verder is de keuken fijn, een vaatwasser was nog fijner geweest.

9.0We loved the garden, the swimming pool, the privacy, the animals and the nature.
A real artists retreat with stunning nature all around
9.0We LOVED just about everything. The views, the pool and gardens, the hospitality, the location, the wildlife, the village, the little touches in the villa, the bath and shower and of course Ella. It was a true home from home and we did not want to leave. The host was friendly and checked on us on our arrival day and left us to it from there on in. We looked forward to our daily visits from the owners beautiful, calm and extremely well behaved golden Labrador and we were sad to say goodbye to her. Such a sweetie. The bats feasting on insects were a real treat to watch and going to sleep to the sound of frogs singing was magical. The artwork in the property is also quite special and with all of the quirky touches, made it feel like a real artists retreat.
− Although I'm pointing these things out, the positives far outweigh these 2 minor things and please take them as constructive criticism. Upon closer inspection the danger with so many items that decorate the space is that they all need dusting. The bedding and towels, surfaces and floor were clean, but there were a lot of old spider webs and thick dust on items on display. Also, previous guests haven't been the best at cleaning their pots so a spot inspection would be needed there and washing to sofa blankets might help remove the slight pet smell from previous 4 legged guests. And the only other negative was the standard double bed just wasn't big enough and the memory foam only mattress wasn't comfy for us. There is plenty of room in the bedroom to take a large and luxurious bed so when it's time to change, please consider a King size and a part sprung:part memory foam mattress so you don't feel like you're going to fall off after sitting on the edge before laying down.
