Almost a perfect 10. Almost.
9.0A beautiful cottage with everything you need for a perfect holiday in the Cheddar, Wells, Glastonbury region. Good sized kitchen, nice and comfy living room with big TV and fireplace, lots of character of the cottage, lovely and attentive hosts. We loved everything except for one thing...
− ... the double bed. It was too small for two tall adults. I'm nearly 6.4 so it was a bit too short for my taste and since my wife is also quite tall it was also a bit too narrow and we didn't like the mattress too much, because it was a bit "shaky". But that's nothing the host can change once you are there. We'd recommend a slightly bigger bed (even if it reduces the narrow space) and a firmer mattress, maybe with a soft topper and a bedframe that isn't boarded at the foot end. That would make it a perfect 10. However, that's whining at a high level. We loved everything else. Oh, and we didn't really understand the recycling instructions. :))

10.0lovely location. cottage well equiped. There is a private garden but this is not directly attached to the property. About a mile into town but road has no path. You really need to drive into town.
− Not the hosts fault but the road from chedder is closed. So a very long drive through narrow lanes to get to chedder.
Super half term stay, lovely home in a fantastic location
8.0Lovely accommodation which was well-equipped for our needs. There was a lovely guest garden which we used a couple of times. Fantastic location for visiting Cheddar, Glastonbury, Blagdon and Wells. Wedmore, just down the road, was very nice too. Stunning view of the Mendips from where we stayed. Amber left us some welcome goodies which was very kind. She was very quick to respond to any queries too.
− Purely personal, the double mattress was a little too soft for us.
