I used to book one night to check , how does it looks but it ended up to extend to 3 nights here , the room was clean and the toilet, kitchen was stunning it has everything you need , WIFI was perfect , the breakfast is amazing, the location is in the city center , it easy to go bus terminal to start your trips by reshika , Marjan was super Amazing host , all the time giving support and guidance

MVG Hostel is more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience, and that’s all thanks to Marjan. He wasn’t just a host, he was like a brother. Always available online to help with anything you need during your stay in Sylhet—whether it’s talking to locals for you, giving tips on where to buy clothes, or helping plan your trip around the city. I even went on a motorcycle tour with him—it was one of the most enjoyable parts of my trip. Exploring the city with him at night was unforgettable. The hostel itself is excellent—rooms are clean, the AC works perfectly, and the kitchen is super clean with everything you need to cook or make tea. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout my stay. The location is also very convenient. It’s in the city, and you can easily reach any bus station by rickshaw. Plus, every morning starts with a nice breakfast to kick off your day. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sylhet!

The hostel owner charged us for 1 night at the rate of 4 nights and didn’t honor the price listed on Booking.com. The room rate on Booking.com was much lower, where 2 nights should have cost 1200, but they charged 2500 per night. This caused a lot of problems during our entire trip, which was very unexpected. The man was very cunning.
