Don't expect too much
5.0Residence El Oukhowa was a stopping off point for us that we used a hub for exploring places in and around Ourzazarte. Located on a main road heading in the actual building was easy enough to find and with enough parking on the street outside (however - see below). The apartment itself was extremely spacious - it was actually large enough to have two bathrooms - one with a western toilet and one with a squat toilet, both with showers. Bedrooms were large - one with 3 single beds and the other a double, and the whole place was cool which in the summer I am sure would be a bonus (however - see below). The café downstairs has an outside seating area and well priced coffee if you fancy spending some time with your feet up in the sun.
− The place was cool. Nope, not cool - actually very cold! We were there in the winter months and the place was frigid. We spent all of our time in it with 5 layers of clothes on. The kitchen was a fairly ramshackle affair with cupboard doors falling off with barely enough items to make a make a cup of tea. Although the main bedroom had a lockable door the second bedroom had absolutely no door or anything for privacy so would be completely inappropriate for anything other than families (with young children). Although finding the building itself was easy enough there is nothing to indicate that you have to either drive around the back (look for the street beside the small builders merchant) to find the main entrance or go in through the café which must be owned by the same people. (Admittedly my limited French possibly didn't help here). If you are in the Health and Safety profession then you probably don't want to think of the boiler plugged into the socket in the actual bathroom a couple of steps away from the shower...

8.0It’s a very good place for family stay, the receptionist malaika was very helpful, of course the language barrier but google translate solved the problem.
