A very cozy place to stay. There are places nearby to get a delicious meal, and it’s also very close to Story Land, where we were headed.

− The room and facilities were not advertised truthfully. The photos are misleading. The double queen room we reserved was not in a "cottage" but instead in what any reasonable person would simply describe as a motel. It's a front loaded building with side by side guest rooms maybe 50 feet from the main road. Upon entering the room had a musty smell, 7 feet ceilings, tiny old 24"x24" shower, and floor in bathroom that sloped. The room was dark and very small in size without any dresser or bench to place your luggage on. Maybe the rooms in the main building are different, but the one we got was an old motel room and we definitely didn't think that's what we were reserving . It would probably be passable if the price we paid for it was closer to what other comparable motels charge, and not $220 per night we paid. In addition to the misleading advertising, the AI driven online check-in process was cumbersome and problematic. I had to send a photo of my driver's license along with a personal photo, which seems a bit much for a motel. The door code for check-in does not arrive in your email literally until the check-in time. Which for me happened to be when I pulled up to the room without cell service as the location is in the mountains. Luckily I had my work cell phone with a different provider and was able to tether the cell data and access my email to get the door code, but this could have made getting into the room nearly impossible. On top of it, I must have received 3 or 4 messages advertising all kinds of extra paid offers such as early check-in, late check-out, or extra parking. Considering the motel was half empty and plenty of extra room to park, this really seemed like pushy sales.

Beautiful, charming. Modern, renovated space balanced with stunning original fixtures. Fully stocked coffee bar. Local to North Conway and local attractions. Easy, streamlined virtual check in. Comfortable space.
