− No Air-conditioning but a fan in the room
An uncomfortable night sleep due to the beer garden’s proximity and the lack of ventilation
3.0The proximity to Croyde was great. It was easy to access independently
− Room 1 only had a very small top light opening window. It had been a hot day, with temperatures up to 30 degrees C and there was insufficient ventilation to cool the room as the outside temperature reduced in the evening and throughout the night. There was an electric fan, which did help. Room 1 backed onto the beer garden, which was packed due to England’s World Cup quarter final match against Norway. I accept that people should have fun on such a national occasion but nothing on the website stated that the 3 rooms overlooked a beer garden

− There was not enough fans for the 3 rooms they had. I borrowed one from another room.
Clean, easy and very well kept
10.0Really clean, well cared for room and bathroom. Very easy to settle in, and the pub below was friendly and nice place for a drink too.
Good stop over if you're doing the Coast path walk
8.0Good staff and simple check in process. Lots of good restaurants to choose in walking distance.
