Welcoming charming staff and good rooms but limited menu for food intolerances such as gf and df.
8.0Good Location and lovely terrace for watching the sun and the river reflections. Interior a little dated Perhaps but all Clean and well kept. Sadly I had requested a twin room and non were available which was a great disappointment.
− Out door seating was plentiful But not very comfortable - cushions for the bench seats might be nice….

10.0Stunning location and building Friendly staff and fabulous breakfast
Great historic building with comfort laid on in spades.
8.0The cooked breakfast was out of this world and worth waiting until 10am to get it. The bed room was large with comfortable arm chairs and great views.
− Confusing instructions about the timing of breakfast. I was told no cooked food before 10am because that was when the chef arrived only to find there was cooked food available at 7.30am. The layout of the building is a little confusing and it takes time to learn which way to turn to find your bedroom

2.0The bed was comfy.
− We've stayed at the bank house many times before. But this last time was really bad. Room was dirty, shower tray hadn't been cleaned, window blind was broken, so couldnt open it. On check in, staff didnt know where the room was. And on check out, the staff got aggressive trying to get me to pay again even though we had only payed the day before! Was a poor end to a poor stay, won't be returning.
Relaxing and chilled for dinner with friends
8.0Very friendly and engaging team. lovely size rooms and great food at dinner and breakfast.
− Better blind/curtains for the bathroom and the tea/coffee niche en route to the bathroom. Did feel exposed to the street once or twice!
