10.0Der Whirlpool mit Blick auf die Berge war großartig!
Beautiful lodge with spectacular views
9.0The cabin, or lodge was beautiful inside and finished to a high specification. The floor to ceiling windows have spectacular views. The decking was a dream in the evening sun and the jacuzzi was a treat. The kitchen and living room areas felt spacious and well equipped with even binoculars and lots of board games. We enjoyed our favourite programmes on the large tv. Good to have a proper double mattress on the bed. Excellent bathroom. So great to get laundry done too. Little details like washing up items, spices etc were all helpful. We were able to change our rented electric car at the property. We had everything we needed and the lodges are cleverly sited so that you get a sense of some privacy. We saw an otter down by the waterfront.
− The lodge is on a large development of approximately 50 similar lodges on the waterside. The road is uneven and unfinished. There is no path at the waterfront that you can walk on for a stroll and you need to drive everywhere. The main road has no walking path either. No local amenities despite the size of the development.

− Needs blackout curtains in living room. There were blinds on the outside of the windows but if it’s windy they retract. It’s windy all the time by water so the blinds would retract as soon as I put them down. Then it gets hot from the sun & with the sun you have to turn on AC but the AC is only by the table. Also, you can’t see the TV screen with the sun shining in. To save energy, curtains would be a good choice. Could use more pans. Not pots but pans. Needs new beds. No support from mattress.
Traumhafte Unterkunft mit spektakulärem Blick
10.0Die Unterkunft ist toll gelegen mit spektakulärem Blick auf das Meer und die Berge. Man findet hier alles was man benötigt, um ein paar Tage Erholung zu finden - inkl. Whirlpool und Kamin. Direkt hier kann man wunderbar Nordlichter im Winter beobachten. In Svolvaer (ca. 20 Min) kann man gut Lebensmittel einkaufen. Lennart und Monica sind wirklich außerordentlich gute Gastgeber, die man heutzutage wirklich selten so engagiert findet! Wir würden die Unterkunft jedem uneingeschränkt für einen Lofoten Aufenthalt empfehlen.
− Es ist eher etwas positives, wenn man bei Problemen richtig handelt - und genau das haben wir hier erfahren. Am Anfang ging der Whirlpool leider nicht aufgrund eines technischen Defektes und die Putzfirma hat nur oberflächlich sauber gemacht. Für beide Dinge konnten die Gastgeber nichts. Am selben Abend ist Lennart extra 60 Min one way zu uns gefahren und hat den Whirlpool repariert, u.a. neue scharfe Messer und eine neue Pfanne gebracht und nochmal geputzt, sodass wir einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt genießen konnten. Wir haben sogar eine großzügige Entschädigung für die Aufheizzeit des Whirlpooles von ca. 2 Tage erhalten. Hier weiß man, dass man bei super Gastgebern aufgehoben ist, die in schwierigen Situationen super handeln!
