It was okay, but TV and milk were a disappointment.

7.0

Quiet, enclosed garden, reasonable views of loch fyne. Welcome pack of cake and milk.

Milk was same date as our arrival, TV and Freesat didn’t work and host or housekeeper couldn’t resolve it. No one had authority to call an engineer and with no internet it was suggested that we use our own mobile data! We did not so we were a little isolated.

Peaceful, relaxing & destressing! Lovely stay.

Location was idyllic tho midges were as pesky as they can be!

Locating the property was problematic for me …. Satnav didn’t make it any easier, sadly!

I booked this as an emergency stay on the day, otherwise the rain & midges would have sent us home & I’m so glad

The double bed is so comfortable!!! I slept so well & the view from the double bedroom is stunning, especially at sunset. We had all we needed for a lovely stay.

I booked this property the day of the booking. I was camping and losing a fight with midges so booked this while on a camp site. I couldn’t download the property guidance due to very poor signal and so the property was really hard to find. However, the locals were really kind and helped us no end & we got there in the end! But that is a small downside. Make sure you push the fridge door properly shut each time you use it otherwise it stays open a little bit.

Nice scenery, but be aware there is only one shop/po/tea room so you have to go to Dunoon for shops

we had a bit of difficulty finding the property and actually went to Baycroft on the front road, where the owner told us how to locate the cottage.Could maybe do with an extra direction sign. We are in our late 60s so mobility is a slight issue the keys are located in locked box under a ramp which proved a wee bit challenging but we did manage

We had a problem with the oven. Which turned out to be a faulty knob. Also we had problems with working the TV. But the host did help efficiently and send someone over the next day to deal with some of these issues. Which was good. The main double bed was very comfortable...but due to our mobility we found the single bed very low, probably suitable for younger fitter folk. We were unlucky with the weather unfortunately, so this did effect our holiday. If you like exploring there are plenty of walks and cycle rides for fitter holiday makers. Maybe not the right choice for us!

Stunning Sunsets over Loch Fyne

8.0

We loved the location the most, peaceful, wonderful sunset across the Loch and mountains. Lovely little loch walks. The dining/breakfast room was bright and overlooked the garden. The house was generally well equipped and comfortable.

The oven was a little temperamental to use and the spot light above the shower was flashing.

Gemütliches Haus mit tollem Ausblick. Es war alles vorhanden was wir brauchten. Unkompliziertes Check-in. Wunderbar ruhige Lage. Wir waren rundum glücklich.
