It’s been a wonderful time with a wonderful family!
10.0The family that runs Thammenna is heartwarming. They were super kind and helpful. When my child was sick (already when we got there) they really cared and tried to help. We got the best local food (breakfast and dinner) we could have asked for. We stayed a night longer than we planned and it’s been a very lovely stay.

Decent place to stay for just one night.
7.0The family who own and run the property are extremely nice and attentive. The day trip organised by the owner’s son is very good.
− The room is very ran down and the sheets and towels are all stained. After I told the owner about the stained sheets, they came in to change them but the clean ones are also stained. The towel rack in the bathroom is very rusty.
A good place to relax with nice people and good food.

10.0A family-run lodging tucked behind the busy road offers tranquility & privacy. Room was spacious & comfortable, especially love the mattress. There’s a supermarket & a laundry just by the main road less than 5 minutes walk away.
A good spot for the Cultural Triangle.
8.0The people were really friendly and helpful, Kaveesha and his mum went out of their way to make our stay so pleasant and to help us with transport all around. The pool was clean and pleasant. A good location to explore the Cultural Triangle and just around the corner from a supermarket and restaurants.
− The room felt in need of a bit of updating and the pool area needs some sunbeds.

10.0Breakfast was great. Dambula is a v busy place, location of property was well back away from the noise in beautiful setting surrounded by jungle, very peaceful and quiet yet within easy access to supermarket less than 10 mins walk. Perfect base for the trips to surrounding attractions. Lovely pool to come back to after hot day out.
− Only thing was when we took the key out our room power went of which is standard but also power to fridge. I don’t think owners were aware of this till I mentioned it.
