− We selected this accommodation based on its proximity to Flinders Hospital during our visit to attend to our ailing father, who unfortunately passed away while we were in Adelaide. Regrettably, our stay revealed a significant cockroach infestation originating from a compromised seal around the toilet. These pests infiltrated various areas, including the shower, fold-up sofa, and even our personal belongings, necessitating us to employ measures such as placing towels under doors and securing our suitcases. The property exhibited additional maintenance issues, including a broken shower soap recess covered with sticky tape and a 1.25l plastic bottle, as well as a shower head held together with adhesive. The TV was rendered unusable due to a malfunctioning remote control. Upon our departure, we communicated these concerns, accompanied by dated and timed photographic evidence, and requested reimbursement for the cleaning fee, citing the unhygienic and unsanitary conditions. Unfortunately, our concerns were met with a less-than-understanding response, with the explanation that our last-minute booking presented challenges. Furthermore, we were discouraged from leaving a negative review. In light of these experiences, we advise caution when dealing with the management and discourage staying at this property until they address and elevate the standard of maintenance and cleanliness.
