Disappointing stay – Broken AC in > 35°C heat with zero support

Location, a few minutes walk from a supermarket and the beach, water activities Apartment, has a sea view. Big and spacious. Has an elevator. Has access to an excellent pool. Kids football/ basketball, mini golf and tennis court within the complex.

− Our holiday was severely disrupted by a broken AC unit that remained completely non-functional for our entire week-long stay July 5th to 12th. We were traveling with four children from Ireland and were not warned about this issue prior to our arrival.When I reported the issue, the staff were entirely unaware of it. Because it is a centralized system, it took two full days just to receive a report from the Home Owners Association, only to be told a part was broken and on order. In the mean time temperatures soared above35°C. The apartment only contained three large fans that did not cool the air; we initially ran these constantly before realizing the AC was entirely broken.Despite the extreme and unsafe heat for a family, management offered absolutely no alternatives, no portable AC units, and no updates. In hindsight, we should have demanded a solution immediately rather than remaining patient and respectful. Since checking out, no compensation or refund has been offered. I cannot recommend staying here due to the lack of follow-up and lack of basic duty of care.

We did not meet Ursula in person as she was on a business trip, but she rang to explain why she could not be there. We met her lovely Mother Carmen and while we did not speak each other's language, she was so welcoming and showed us around the apartment and explained everything, such a beautiful woman Everything was perfect and beautiful and comfortable The pool is a dream, and 5mins walk to Mercadona where we always go for gluten free products, especially sausages. Also 5mins walk to restaurants, pubs and beach. Fabulous all together Thank you Ursula and Carmen

I loved the location, down at the far end, near the train station and airport. Easy to get parking, quiet, and the views were stunning! Minutes to a large grocery store.

− Some might find this far end too quiet, it's just a few minutes walk to shopping and there are lots of restaurants, but the marina and the main area are about a 30 minute walk.

Perfect stay we are thinking of coming back there :)

We liked basically everything, perfect location very close to the beach , nice surroundings with secured areas that contains mini golf , tennis courts, playground and lots of greenery , The flat was clean and very well equipped with stuff you can potentially need on your holiday , lots of equipment for the beach like sport equipment and umbrellas, kitchen greatly equipped with everything, the owner very nice and communicative and helpful, stayed all the time with contact with us when needed.

O apartamento é lindíssimo. Bem equipado e perto da praia, restaurantes, lojas, etc. Junto ao Mercadona. As camas são confortáveis bem como o sofá. A varanda é fantástica para um pequeno almoço tranquilo, por exemplo. Localizado num condomínio fechado, com piscina, muito calmo. As zonas verdes estão bem cuidadas. A cozinha tem bastante loiça, tachos e panelas suficientes. Não tem máquina de café mas sim cafeteira. Tem ar condicionado, é espaçoso e a anfitriã é muito simpática e prestável, bem como a sua mãe que foi quem nos recebeu.

− Penso que o que se pode melhorar seria na cabine de duche, a parte do isolamento da porta. Acaba por deixar sair alguma água e com o tempo isso pode danificar o chão. De resto está tudo conforme o esperado. Claro que pode haver pequenos desgastes mas nada de anormal e que não seja próprio do uso. A casa é super confortável.

Mooi appartement met uitzicht op zee. Contact met verhuurder was erg goed en fantastische locatie. Lekker rustig maar toch overal dichtbij. Wij hebben veel gebruik gemaakt van het hele fijne zwembad. Groot balkon waar we iedere avond lekker hebben gezeten.

− Eigenlijk niets. Was wel fijn geweest als er iets meer handdoeken waren zodat we niet tussendoor hoefde te wassen.
