− I wish to raise a complaint regarding our recent stay at Picturehouse Apartments on Scotland Road, Liverpool, from 26 June to 27 June. Upon our arrival at approximately 5:00 pm, we were informed that there were no towels available in the apartment because they were still in the dryer. As check-in begins from 4:00 pm, we were disappointed that the apartment had not been fully prepared for our arrival. In addition, we experienced several issues with the apartment itself. The blinds in the main living area were misaligned, the “balcony” door would not close properly, the fans provided were of poor quality and ineffective, and therefore the apartment was uncomfortably hot throughout our stay. The bathroom also had a strong unpleasant odour. When checking out, we mentioned how excessively hot the apartment had been. The receptionist commented that the apartments become so hot that the cleaning staff are reluctant to enter them. This raised concerns that the extreme heat and lack of cleaning may have contributed to the unpleasant smell in the bathroom and may also explain why fresh towels were not ready before our arrival. We fully appreciate that the recent heatwave was beyond your control. However, it is difficult to understand how guests can be expected to stay in such conditions when even members of staff are reportedly reluctant to work in the apartments due to the extreme heat. At the very least, effective fans or other measures should have been provided to make the accommodation comfortable. Given the cost of the room, expecting guests to stay in these conditions without adequate cooling is simply unacceptable. In addition, the door to the front single room seemed to be badly swollen meaning that it would not close properly. The cost for one night at this apartment was £320.00 and I do not consider that we got value for our money. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience.

− Too hot no ventilation the windows are closed we could not open , not enough bathroom towels for the family to noise all night when the big cars and trucks go by

− The property was extremely dirty, the bedding was dirty we had to get moved, the place looks unfinished and under construction all you can smell is dust, from the outside the place looks derelict, and very untidy it’s not kept well all, the photos of are under false pretentious

− Allotjament que li dóna el sol tot el dia, com a conseqüència, la temperatura dins d'aquest és horrible, ja que no hi ha aire acondicionat, l'únic que hi ha és un ventilador per apartament. A més a més, les finestres quasi no es poden obrir. L'apartament està situat just al davant d'una carretera molt transitada, per la qual cosa, costa molt dormir-hi. Les parets estan brutes i amb insectes. La dutxa perd aigua i el lavabo queda inundat.

Easy check in, staff was really good, accommodation is clean.

− No parking space, accommodation was really hot when we got in coz all the windows was closed, the weather is hot already and they should have open all windows before we checked in but they didn't. Blind in the tv room needs fixing coz no one wants their blind down the whole day with this hot weather.
