Spacious studio with good amenities, close to shopping & short drive to the beach & San Francisco.

This studio was good for our needs and perfectly situated to visit family, shopping, access to other local areas. So many positives to recommend a stay here. 1) Communication before and during our stay was great. 2) We really did feel like the place was all ours due to the separate access. 3) Well appointed kitchen area with everything you would need for partial for full self-catering. Had everything we needed. 4) The air conditioning was great. 5) Parking was great. 6) Nice to have extra linen. 7) Nice and quiet, even when the host had their own guests over. 8) Lots of storage. 9) Easy to find and easy check-in / out instructions. 10) TV was easy to use. 11) Free wi-fi. 12) Good number and choice of pillows. We have stayed in several air BnB and self-catering locations and this was one of the best for the money paid.

− The following isn't so much what we didn't like, more like 'could do better... 1) The Automatic security lights came on a lot during the night so did disturb our sleep a little. In hindsight we are confident this would have been addressed by the host if we had raised the issue, but we did not want to be a bother and it wasn't that big an issue; but could be looked at to enhance the stay experience. 2) Not sure if it was due to the type of fabric, but the fitted sheet kept coming off each night. 3) The bathroom was a little tired and could do with some attention. 4) The sofa and chair are dated and not very comfortable. 5) Would have been nice to have access to washer and dryer in the studio. 6) We feel the furniture arrangement could be maximized to create a better sense of 'living' space and sleeping space. If the bed was position in the window and the sofa chair were moved to define a 'living' space this could work better. 7) Dresser was usable, but damaged and we would recommend it is fixed or replaced. 8) Studio could probably accommodate a king-size bed. 9) Mattress protector was a little dirty / stained. None of this feedback would prevent us asking to stay here again and we will highly recommend this studio to others. Thanks to our great hosts.

Very convenient location for me. Quiet. Comfortable bed which meant I slept well. There’s a bath!

− The security light which comes on spontaneously in the night and shines into your eyes when you’re in bed because of a gap at the end of the blind. It’s a bit dark and there are no views from the windows. This didn’t bother me because I wasn’t spending time at the property other than to sleep. No towels in the kitchen area. How am I supposed to dry the washing up?

The location was excellent for me as my son and his family live very close by. It was beautifully quiet. Very easy access.

− The blinds don’t stop the security light shining in and waking you up as they are a little short of the frame. I solved this by wearing eye shades. I couldn’t work out how the coffee maker worked, but overcame this by making coffee in a saucepan! It’s a little shabby in places. The quality of the decor and the workmanship was a bit less than I would want in my house, but it was clean.
