− HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE – DO NOT STAY HERE, ESPECIALLY WITH CHILDREN Our stay at this apartment near Dubrovnik was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. I strongly recommend that families, especially those travelling with children, avoid this place at all costs. First, the location is extremely difficult to find, and the road leading to the property is in very poor condition. Getting to the apartment is difficult and inconvenient, especially with children and luggage. The stairs leading to the apartment are also extremely dangerous for children. There are no proper railings or safety barriers, which makes the stairs particularly unsafe for young children. This is a serious safety concern that should be clearly mentioned to guests before booking. Unfortunately, the host’s behaviour was the biggest problem. We found his attitude extremely strange, aggressive, and unreasonable. He charged us an additional €30 for our 3-year-old child and repeatedly insisted that we had lied about the number and ages of our children. He even claimed that our 11-year-old son was a teenager and accused us of lying about his age. We had been completely honest about our family and the number and ages of our children from the beginning. There was a washing machine in the apartment, but we were told that we could not use it without the host’s permission. At one point, the host even cut off the water supply and complained that we had been using water for 30 minutes. This was completely unacceptable, especially when staying in an apartment with several children. The bathroom was also extremely outdated and did not meet the standard we expected. The most shocking and disturbing incident happened at around 1 a.m. The host entered our room while our children were sleeping, without any consideration for our privacy or the fact that it was the middle of the night.

Great stay for the money, but border crossing and non-potable water was a bummer

Spotless accommodation, helpful host, and very affordable compared to nearby Dubrovnik.

− If you're staying here to visit Dubrovnik, you need to account for an extra 30-60 minutes every time you cross the border. Also, this location does not have drinkable tap water, which was inconvenient for my family with younger children.

Basic apartment, cheap and cheerful.

Clean, tidy basic apartment. Lovely host. Nice and quiet. The nearest town Trebinje is absolutely beautiful and well worth a visit about 15 miles away.

− It’s off the beaten track, so you need your own transport. Restaurant and petrol station a few miles away. No air conditioning.

Nous y sommes allée pour la proximité avec Dubrovnik et l’appartement est vraiment juste à côté de la frontière!

Le logement est HYPER proche de la frontière dans un endroit calme. Tous les équipements sont présents et le propriétaire est très compréhensif.

Bring Cash!! They don’t accept card or bank transfer as we found out and nearly had to leave at 1am
