The most comfortable apartment ever in the best location!

The location was absolutely perfect for us; it’s far enough from the centre of Athens that it’s not too busy, but close enough to walk in every day (it took about 20 minutes at a casual pace). There are plenty of transport facilities if you didn’t want to walk. The restaurants around the apartment are truly amazing, and another reason to stay a bit further out from the “tourist” area. Oroscopo was one of our favourites, the staff are so welcoming and generous. Do visit the coffee shop on the corner for your morning coffee and pastry (turn left out of the apartment). The lady in there is just so friendly and always got our day off to a positive start. And the coffee really hit the spot! The apartment itself was probably one of the comfiest we’ve ever stayed in. The beds are wonderful and we slept so well. The apartment has all the facilities you need and more. Plenty of hairdryers, an iron and ironing board, coffee machines and kettles. You’d be hard pushed to find something it doesn’t offer. The sofa is also really comfy for those nights you just want to relax and watch a movie.

− There were a few little things that require maintenance. The handle on the en-suite door is broken and doesn’t lock, the bidet shower next to the toilet in there doesn’t seem to work either. The bidet shower in the other bathroom also leeks a little. The flooring could use a little TLC as the parquet was coming up in some places. I also had to give the place a vacuum upon arrival as there was long blonde and pink hair everywhere lol. The vacuum was blocked with the same hair so I believe the apartment was vacuumed for us, but the hoover was too clogged to be effective. Don’t let that put you off the apartment though, even with those minor issues they were not a bother and we worked around them easily. We would definitely stay here again if we were to visit Athens.

Gute Ausstattung und zentrale Lage, glücklicherweise kein Touristen Hotspot wie Plaka. Nette kleine Geschäfte und günstige Restaurants in der Nähe.

− Der Schalter für den Warmwasser-Boiler muss mindestens 30 Minuten vor dem Duschen in einem versteckten Sicherungskasten umgelegt werden. Wir hatten diesen Hinweis leider erst am ersten Morgen gelesen und waren entsprechend genervt. Bis richtig heißes Wasser kommt dauert es bis zu einer Stunde. Die Angabe der Verwaltung mit ca. 15 Minuten stimmt definitiv nicht! Unzumutbar wenn man mal spontan warmes Wasser benötigt. Das Schloss am Hauseingang (nicht zur Wohnung!) ist defekt und lässt sich nur sehr schwer öffnen. Wir haben die Verwaltung informiert. Die in der Anreise-Anleitung beschriebene Lage der Lockbox für den Wohnungsschlüssel war falsch. Wir mussten per WhatsApp mit der Verwaltung kommunizieren und haben die Box dann neben dem Nachbarhaus gefunden. Dadurch leider unnötiger Stress bei der Anreise und Zeitverlust.

The location was easy to reach, apartment is very cozy, comfortable, there’s everything you need for your stay. I highly recommend to anyone travelling to Athens this apartment. Also the host is very nice, replied quickly to our messages and needs. Her kind attitude and the cozy apartment made our stay even better. We are definitely coming back there if we come back again in the city.

The stay was incredible. As a family of 5, we really enjoyed it and appreciated 2 bathrooms. We liked the location a lot because right next to the apartment is a grocery store and a drug store. (Not only, there are many little shops, too). We were also quite close to the centre. The owner was very polite, answered very quickly and took care of any issues we had. We received 3 towels for one person, shampoo and shower gel, coffee capsules, marmalade and other stuff. There is everything in the kitchen (even spices!). AC is in every room, so everyone could set the temperature of their liking. There were even 2 hairdryers! As I said, the stay was really exceptional and worth the money.

− The only thing we didn't really like was that there was no toilet seat in one of the bathrooms, but that's more of a preference thing.
