Peaceful and quiet

The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. The little cottage was very peaceful and quiet with an amazing Texas feel inside and out. If you like that Texas motif and country feel than this is your place. It's just a short ride into Kerrville and Hunt and the view is beautiful. Forget the local hotels and stay here, trust me y'all won't be disappointed.

− Everything was great but the only complaint i had is the area around the cottage needs weedeating and driveway could have been filled in a little better. It does add to the feel of the place but I am extremely sensitive to Greenbrier and stinging nettles and they surrounded the cottage. We will definitely stay there again in the future and not everyone is allergic like I am so it's really not a complaint just a suggestion.

− Overgrown; looked abandoned. Cabins not named so don't know which is which. Dangerous driveway. Loose gravel on a VERY steep incline. My tires could not get traction. Tires just spun and threw rocks.No tv or wifi just DVDs. Not a flushing toilet. It burns waste.. very weird.. None of this disclosed in booking description. Would not have booked if known. Way over priced.

The proprietor was very warm, welcoming, communicative and helpful. He was great. The location and views were wonderful. We enjoyed watching the storms come in!

− The rental price is too high for not providing wifi, especially because internet is available to the houses right next door. Four days without internet made it difficult to stay in touch with school for my daughter and work for me. I hate to leave a negative comment here on cleanliness, and maybe there is a reason, but the cabin is very dirty. We found old earplugs and dental floss strands, etc. under the bed and behind decor with the dust and spiders. There are so many knick knacks on every surface, leaving no space to put personal clothes, toiletries and food except on the floor. Also, it makes it difficult to properly clean the space. Incinerator toilet vents outside at ground level next to the deck table and chairs - unpleasant odor. No drawers or hangers to hang clothes in the cabin. We were in the area for a memorial and couldn't hang up dresses.
