Un refugio perfecto para desconectar y ver quetzales
9.0Tuvimos una experiencia hermosa. La cabaña es increíble, con una vista al valle realmente espectacular. Peter y Francisca fueron súper amables desde el primer momento: nos dejaron la calefacción prendida antes de llegar y además nos recomendaron qué hacer por la zona para poder ver quetzales. Gracias a sus consejos, pudimos verlos al amanecer del segundo día, bajando por el valle hacia el río. Fue mágico. La finca cuenta con senderos estrechos que llevan hasta el río, y durante una caminata nos encontramos con Jairo, quien nos contó mucho sobre la fauna y flora del lugar, haciendo la experiencia aún más especial. La casa estaba súper equipada, con camas cómodas, buenas mantas de abrigo, utensilios de cocina y todo lo necesario para disfrutar una estadía perfecta. También vale la pena mencionar que el parqueo es algo estrecho y empinado. Si no se sienten seguros manejando en ese tipo de acceso, es mejor dejar el carro en la parte superior. Recomendable ir con un vehículo alto y con buena tracción.
− Como único detalle —que no afectó para nada nuestra experiencia— creemos que el baño podría mejorarse un poco estéticamente para estar más a tono con lo linda que es la casa de madera. Había partes del gypsum visibles y la ducha estaba algo tapada por el sarro, aunque el agua salía muy caliente y funcionaba bien.

Loved our stay, Peter and Francisca were very nice and we loved the rustic vibe of the cabin.
8.0Great place to see Quetzals, walk trails and enjoy amazing views over the cloud forest.
− A hook (even a nail would do) to hang towels, extra bin liners for a longer stay when self catering, more reasonable pick up price from the road.

9.0Wonderful rustic cabin in a superb location. Owners very responsive and helped organise a quetzal viewing. A couple of spotted wood quails walking around the property were a bonus.
