− The gas heater died on the fire evening, the hot water in the shower and bath did work. The hot water was a constant problem, and not having a heater in Dullstroom is a problem. I would not recommended staying here, value for money is poor, and the pictures online do not match with the product received
Comfy but noisy
4.0The unit it self is comfortable. Gardens are lovely. Bed was great.. loved the gas fire place.
− Kitchen is not well equipped. If we knew there was a family above us we definitely would not have booked... it was very noisy.
Regardless of the issues mentioned, your place is clean, safe and beautiful. We'll be back again.
9.0The location was perfect. No breakfast was served, it was self catering.
− Hot water that was so irregular. When you open the hot tap to take a shower, hot water comes out but before you start showering, cold water comes out. This was really annoying because I expected to have hot water for whenever I wanted to take a bath or shower. Please attend to this issue particularly as winter is approaching. The other issue was the light coming out of the last ceiling panel next to the bed perpendicular to the wall with the larger mirror. This light came on probably from the house above the unit we occupied. It happened only on our last night (23 March 2025). I suspect that since the house was occupied on the night before (22 March 2025), one of the lights was left unswitched off, and for some reasons that light came through half the last ceiling panel throughout the night, disrupting our sleep on our last night at your beautiful and squeaky clean place.
