We had such a lovely stay. The property exceeded our expectations – it was warm, cosy, and so well set up for a family.
10.0Loved the location. It’s just a short 10-minute drive from Eat Streat, yet it feels tucked away on the edge of the lake. The cottage was cosy and warm, with excellent amenities and a generous supply of firewood.
− We really appreciated being able to bring our puppy. Just something to be aware of if you’re travelling with pets: the property isn’t fully fenced, so you’ll need to keep an eye on them.
Very happy. Just wished we were staying for longer.
10.0What a lovely home it is! We were so comfortable and all ammenities were provided for. The house is furnished with lovely decor especially the Maori pieces that are decorated throughout the home. Thank you for the awesome stay. We will definitely stay here again.

7.0The House is spacious and comfortable. The view of the lake is Gorgeous.
− I think the whole place needs a deep clean and may be a coat of paint. Especially the extractor hood in the kitchen and all the windows.
Extremely clean, comfortable and well-equipped, very friendly and helpful host, highly recommended.
10.0The house offered everything and more, even down to a printer! We didn't need it, but it showed the degree of consideration shown by the owners. The TV also had a good quality soundbar, the appliances were near new and also of high quality, the beds were very comfortable and the linen and towels were of high quality. The weather was rather warm and stuffy when we were there so we were relieved to find pedestal fans in the wardrobes. Host Marlene responded immediately (and in a very friendly manner) to my SMS requesting late check-out, and readily agreed to it at no extra cost whereas she would have been quite justified in requiring an additional payment.
− We didn't dislike anything, but in terms of providing what may be useful feedback - - I think we struggled to operate the TV so clear instructions would help (or perhaps we didn't find them) - I found the pillows a bit flimsy, although I've no doubt they were good quality, so it was really good to find firmer pillows in the wardrobe
