Charming fairytale cottage in the redwood forest.
10.0Surrounded by enormous redwood trees. We saw some deer and squirrels and birds. Very calming, comfortable interior. Massive master bedroom bed, lovely upstairs bedroom, and well equipped kitchen. Great if you want to cook. Lots of communal space, and large windows all around. Very quiet at all times and lovely artistic features. Great family feel to the house. We loved it. It was very charming!

10.0A very quant storybook cottage in the woods. Easy access to all local attractions. Quick and reliable internet. The master suite had a king bed and updated bathroom which featured a jetted tub.
4 year old adored it, big thumbs down for the 3 adults.
3.0No breakfast served. Many issues, master bed extremely uncomfortable, 3inch foam on top of a poor mattress..so many lights did not work, flickered, or needed bulbs. So many details not taken care of.
− Lots of tidiness around the property, rooftop needed cleaned up, big fire hazard, smoke detector missing upstairs...lots of fir tree mess around property, big fire hazard. Toaster not functional, floor not cleaned found plastic bags, dirt everywhere. Chairs difficult to get in and out of, front door unusable...will not stay, nor tell any friends to, ever. Mess around property. Meditataton spot is not south, east, and nothing but a plank of square wood. Biggest issue was bad bad bad master bed. We both need a month of chiropractor after 2 nites.
The cottage was beautiful and well appointed for cooking. It is also very close to town and everything around Mendocino.
10.0The storybook cottage is a truly magical place. We really enjoyed sitting in the sunshine in the meadow and the cottage really does look like something from a storybook.
