Serene, unique. Little touches to make it an experience. Lots of amenities and great style of decoration of unit and what a view. Local farm produce and area produce was fantastic.Filtered rain water. Recycling and compost. Cute touches like books of all types and night vision and binoculars. I loved the furniture ade of wood. Very original. Absolutely beautiful location and cute style of all decor.

− We had to close up at night due to insects and it was hot and the aircon unit was not enough to cool . That and fan kept turning off n on all night and disrupted our sleep. Bed and pillows hard and not comfortable. Had free condiments for brekky and no bread to toast.

Exceptional facilities and privacy perched above the Barron River with spectacular views overlooking the river valley ranges to the west. Eco friendly with walking trails and swimming holes along the river.

Peaceful location on the waterfront

Very peaceful, it was nice being away from everything and having a private area with easy access to the water. Nice little areas to sit on the waterfront, by the fire, or up on the patio. Great size fridge and freezer, the BBQ was useful, comfy bed, nice shower and view. Communication was good with the hosts and they were a phone call away if needing anything.

− It was quite cool with the rain the weekend we were there, although there is no air-conditioning, as this is advertised, there is a good pedestal fan though.

an absolute GEM! a true meaning of the word retreat with all the comforts of a hotel. Petra and Madeleine were so hospitable and kind with the complemetry treats and food. they created an amazing space when you can relax, unwind and enjoy the nature at its finest. the best part you're compelty by yourself, including most stunning corner of the river just for you. and it's all done in sustainable and eco friendly way. From filter rainwater to their own brand of aromatherapy insect repellent. ♡♡♡ definitely will be back 🥰

A tranquil retreat to relax and recharge.

The location is perfect for complete privacy and a wonderful place to relax and recharge. The bed was super comfy and there was a great array of items for breakfast after a refreshing sleep! There were also board games available to play, books to read and a guide to Australian birds to help identify those who showed up in the trees during our visit! The view from the shower was also incredible! The owners have put lots of thought into making a beautiful eco-friendly and sustainable getaway whilst also catering for a variety of things that will make you feel at home!

− Only wish we could have stayed longer!
