− The host Monika was so unhelpful and rude.

Tense and like we weren’t really wanted there at all by the host.

Rooms were very well equipped with everything you could need and very clean. Property is very secure so the children could run around and play.

− It notes during the booking process that a 100euro damage deposit is required but booking.com doesn’t take this at the time of payment. After the room is paid for, the host contacts you and asked for it to be sent over revolut. I had booked the room for my brother who doesn’t have revolut so we were trying to figure this out and the host was sending messages saying ‘deposit must be paid now!’ Which I found quite stressful and a lot of pressure. The pool is an above frame with a canvas floor and walls and is quite small. It wasn’t available on the first night as it needed to be cleaned or something, not sure what the issue was with it. Photos of the pool and a description on the website would be helpful as we were expecting a built in pool and felt pretty underwhelmed. I booked this room for my brother and his family who are visiting me in Kildare (my house is too small to sleep everyone). I spent the afternoon at the property with my family and my husband joined us around 5/6 to have dinner with us there meaning there were two additional adults and cars on the premises. (We were not planning on staying the night, just spending time with our family). The host called us and said we had to leave as we hadn’t booked to pay and use the facilities. My family visit me often but unfortunately we won’t use this accommodation again, we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome.

The room had everything you would need, sliders, toothbrushes and toothpaste, sewing kit, water in fridge, jellies for the girls, fruit and sweets in the kitchen as well as all necessary utilities. Books if you wanted to read, coffee pods in room with all utensils, microwave, fan, tv. The place was decorated so well with everything colour co-ordinated. Great outside facilities too. Would definitely book again. Surprisingly exceptional.

− I booked a stay at this property for Sunday night and paid in full. At no point during the booking process was it made clear that the latest check-in time was 9:00 pm. We were not due to arrive until close to 10:00 pm, so I called the property in advance to ask if this would be acceptable. The host informed me that she could not wait beyond 9:00 pm. As a result, I requested a refund. The host told me that I would need to contact Booking.com, which I did. Booking.com then advised me to contact the property directly. I requested a full refund and made multiple attempts to get in touch with the property, but my messages were ignored for several days and I received no response. Today, I finally spoke with Booking.com again, and interestingly they were able to reach the property immediately. However, the property has now stated that they will not issue a refund of €170. I find this extremely unfair. The lack of communication throughout the process has been frustrating, and the customer service has been very disappointing. Had the check-in restrictions been clearly displayed at the time of booking, I would never have made the reservation in the first place.
