Excellent central location, very clean and lovely room

− Road noise was quite high, but location (on Main Street) in busy mid summer period and open window were the real contributors.

A little Scottish stopover that turned into a hidden treasure.
10.0I stayed at Acorn House Hotel in Callander overnight on my way to a Scottish retreat, and it turned out to be one of the loveliest surprises of my trip. I absolutely fell in love with Callander — it’s such a cute, super friendly little town with a really welcoming atmosphere. The hotel was very clean, nicely decorated, and perfectly placed right on the high street. My room overlooked the bustling street below, which made for perfect people‑watching. The landlady was kind, friendly, and made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. I would absolutely recommend Acorn House and Callander to anyone visiting Scotland. It’s a little treasure.
