We loved this place, an oasis of peace, quiet and naturalness in the middle of nowhere, go for a day stay a week or move in forever, you'll be made welcome by Sara, James and the kids James is American btw so speaks English (well what Americans call English :) ) Milk a goat, make some cheese, collect honey go swim in the lake or mountain stream. It's a far cry from the costa smeralda and well worth the journey

Really friendly and helpful hosts. We felt immidiately a part of their family. Open minded people who cherish the real values of life and sustainable economy, grow their own vegetables, fruits and cereals and respect the nature. Tasty and healty food. Nice spots around to visit. We enjoyed swimming in the river, visiting surrounding villages and going to the beaches close by Oristano. Everything was to reach within an hour driving.

Nestled not far from Laconi, our stay at Country Living School was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a warm embrace of hospitality that exceeded all expectations. The host family, James, Sara, Fabrizio and Giulia, radiated a genuine kindness and generosity that illuminated every aspect of our stay. Their welcoming smiles and eagerness to ensure my comfort created an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie that made us feel like part of their family from the outset. Beyond their gracious hospitality, what truly inspired us was their way of living. Their passion for life, connection to their community, and dedication to sustainable living left a lasting impression on us. Whether it was sharing stories over a delicious home-cooked meal made from ingredients sourced locally or engaging in meaningful conversations about their eco-friendly initiatives, we found ourselves inspired by their ethos and commitment to making a positive impact on the world around them. The accommodations themselves were cozy and inviting, providing a perfect sanctuary to relax and recharge after a day of exploration. Every detail, from the comfortable bedding to the charming décor, was thoughtfully curated to enhance the overall experience. In summary, our stay was an unforgettable journey filled with warmth, inspiration, and genuine connections. We left feeling deeply grateful for the opportunity to experience the true essence of hospitality and carry the lessons learned from James, Sara, Fabrizio and Giulia, with us wherever we go.
