A beautiful home we enjoyed fully
8.0We loved sunset villas. The pictures inside do not do it justice. We loved the terrace, the pool, the great staff. I felt lucky to be here for a few days. Saidi was cooking for us. Which was such a gift! But he was also treasure trove of knowledge about the creek ( paddle out on it on the kayak you may borrow, he can guide you around), medicinal plants ( his father taught him about the plants), and his cooking we really enjoyed. The garden also has beautiful plants. The Baobab is stunning. There are games to play with for the kids. . One night we walked to the creek in the dark to see the bioluminescence. There wasn't much there with a full moon. But we met all kinds of crabs on the beach and the sky was filled with stars. It was a great place from which to discover Watamu and Bofa beach. I thought I would miss being by the ocean. I loved visiting it. But we really enjoyed the quiet of this beautiful place. It is good to note that we had a car. And that may be handy given the location. But not necessary.
