Beautiful Beachfront Escape with Outstanding Service
9.0We loved our stay at Maremegmeg Beach Club. Although we visited in June and had some rainy weather, the quieter season meant uncrowded beaches, relaxed restaurants, and a peaceful atmosphere. The location is excellent, right on Las Cabanas Beach with a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the ocean. We loved our room's balcony, where we enjoyed the ever-changing views, from sunshine to dramatic storms. We enjoyed complimentary kayaking, relaxing on the loungers on the beach, and swimming in the warm ocean. The beach bar served great food and cocktails, and nearby Vanilla Beach offered more restaurants, shops, and massage options. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. They arranged our airport transfers and tricycles into El Nido Town, and when our island-hopping tour was canceled due to weather, they helped us find another couple to share a private speedboat. It turned into one of the highlights of our trip, with a customized itinerary and visits to beautiful, less-crowded beaches. With the speedboat, we got to visit the highlights of the A, B, C, and D tours all in one day and the boat left from right in front of the resort. Breakfast was excellent, and the combination of stunning views, great food, helpful staff, and a relaxing beachfront setting made for a memorable stay. We would happily return and highly recommend Maremegmeg Beach Club.
