Amei simplesmente tudo, desde a recepção da anfitriã, que é maravilhosa, ao local de fácil acesso. Tudo que você precisa encontra na localidade. As instalações e limpeza são perfeitas, a privacidade do local é especular e ainda tem as belas plantas na varanda para alegrar o coração dos hóspedes.

Nice efficiency apartment in the Petrópolis bairro of Manaus

This apartment in the Petrópolis neighborhood of Manaus is close to INPA and UFAM. It is in the private residence of Miss Val, but has a separate entrance. The apartment itself was clean, cozy and a wonderful place to stay while I visited a friend in Manaus. Dona Val is very sweet, a good hostess, and has a cute dog named Rihanna. I stayed for 8 nights and my room was cleaned once during the stay. The kitchen has a table with two chairs, a refrigerator, a stove and a sink, with cutlery, plates, and cups available. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked well. The room is dark at night, and the neighborhood was quiet for sleeping. The neighborhood is pleasant during the day, but like any place else you don't know, it was not a good idea to walk around at night. There are corner bodegas up the street and a few small restaurants nearby, but it is in a primarily a residential neighborhood. If you want to reach bigger grocery stores and shopping centers, you will probably need to take Uber. There is only on-street parking at the location. The price is a good value, and I really enjoyed my stay at this location.

− I had some trouble with the keys getting into the outer gate. Sometimes the gate wouldn't open until several tries. Maybe I didn't know how to use it. My flight into Manaus was very late at night/early morning and I tried to communicate in Portuguese with Miss Val through Booking.com about my late arrival, but didn't receive responses from her until after several tries. We finally worked out a solution to my late arrival. Miss Val does not speak English and seemed to be shy about communicating with foreigners. Once I met her at the property, she warmed up, and even brought me coffee and toast several mornings.
