My son and I chose this location for stargazing and we could not have been happier. In fact every single night we talked about how delighted we were about staying at the mobile home/little house at Chief Mountain Cabins! The location was superb for stargazing! We could see the Milky Way clearly every night, and we even stayed up to watch the moonrise. It was all incredibly quiet. We couldn’t believe how quiet it was - just amazing! The mobile home was perfect. It was immaculately clean, the kitchen was wonderfully put together with all the cooking and utensils that you would want, storage in the cabinets was perfect. The beds were incredibly comfortable, I also loved loved loved loved reading in the living room area with the beautiful view! The little bathroom was just perfect, we really enjoyed the warm showers as well, after a day of sightseeing. It was amazing that this location was so isolated, yet we were only about 35 minutes from Waterton Lakes national Park. Which is incredible all by itself. We absolutely loved that we could spend days on gorgeous hikes, take a cruise on the lake, and enjoy delicious dinners in Waterton — and then return to this incredibly gorgeous and isolated and quiet view and lodging all to ourselves! The host was incredibly responsive, including in the run-up to our stay.

− Bitte vorher über die Duschen informieren. Wir hatten bei unserem Besuch keine Duschen. Aber bei ein/zwei Nächten ist das ok. Aber die Toiletten waren sehr sauber.

Awesome place with amazing views! The girls and I love nature getaways, but camping just isn't our jam. We were so happy to discover this place—it gives you that camping experience, but with cozy beds and no need to pack all the camping gear. We absolutely loved it! Even got to see the Northern Lights..

We really appreciated the views and the quaintness of the place. The trailer was clean and found the mattresses comfortable and the space was well utilized. There was a little fire pit near by that overlooked Chief Mountain that we definitely would have utilized if we had more time. The place is a pretty and short 30 min drive from Waterton park which was very convenient.

− The very first thing we noticed was there were no window coverings. Although we were not directly in view of the other domes/cabins, anyone could've walked the very short distance and looked in. The windows were all eye-level and some looked directly into the one bed area. As three young women staying there, it made was very uncomfortable and forced us to get creative to create some privacy. It was unclear if the water from the tap in the trailer was drinkable and internet was very spotty that the answer from the owners did not come through until the next morning. We also had difficulty sleeping due to a beeping noise that started in the middle of the night. None of us could find the source and it was a little frustrating. It wasn't until we checked out and were in town that we got a message giving us a multi-step instructions how to fix a beeping noise should it happen. Owners were kind and quick to respond to my questions prior to our stay and I think it was just the unfortunate spotty internet that caused the break down in communication. Simple window coverings and perhaps a print out in the trailer with all the trouble shooting and info, it would have significantly improved our stay :)
