7.0De ligging is top! Ook het uitzicht is geweldig. Maar dan moet je wel goed weer hebben, haha!
− De kamer is niet koud te krijgen zonder een raam open te zetten, en dat kan niet, want dan komen die vervelende stekende vliegjes binnen. Dat was wel een tegenvaller.

Chalet discreto ma pieno di moscerini
7.0Si tratta di un classico chalet a doppio ingresso come molti in Islanda. Camera discreta, cucina essenziale, bagno ampio. Piccolo spazio esterno condiviso con lo chalet attiguo.
− Il posto è abbastanza pieno di moscerini che purtroppo facilmente entrano perché in bagno e alla porta di ingresso non ci sono zanzariere. Molti di questi piccoli insetti si trovano morti qua e là in casa, soprattutto sulle tende a rullo (quindi pulizia decisamente migliorabile). Purtroppo anche in questa struttura - come spesso accade in Islanda - non c'è alcuna interazione fisica con lo staff ma tutto avviene con self check-in
Too expensive for what one gets

− Not worth the money. Considering the high price we paid, the experience was disappointing. One of the house rules requires guests to clean the kitchen before checking out, which felt unreasonable given the premium cost of the accommodation. We were traveling with a child and asked if it would be possible to have a small extra mattress so we could all sleep more comfortably. Unfortunately, this request was declined. After asking again, we were at least provided with an extra pillow and blankets at no additional charge, which we appreciated. We were also advised not to use too much water. Given the price of the stay, this made us worry about running out of hot water in the middle of a shower, so we ended up skipping our showers, which was far from a relaxing holiday experience. Overall, the accommodation did not meet the expectations that come with such a high nightly rate.
Fantastic place to stay, especially if you want glacier views and easy access to things like glacier activities.
