THIS UNIT IS UNBEARABLY HOT INSIDE - STAY AWAY. No Owner Communication.
1.0The location of this building was great, it was directly connected to the lower slope which feeds into the main gondola. Also short walking distance to the village are shops and restaurants.
− **** DO NOT NOT STAY IN THIS UNIT *** I wanted to put that as the first exclamation, as I wanted to warn off future renters. There is one good thing about this unit, which is it's location in relation to the village and slopes. THE REST IS BAD. I will explain below: 1) ELEVATOR DOES NOT WORK. First and foremost, the single elevator in the building did not work. In fact, it was known well before our trip that it would not be working (as the other long term renters informed us) and it would be quite some time before it would be working again (as confirmed by the resort staff who were tasked with helping to WATCH people's items while they carried them up multiple flights of stairs. --- Other renters were issued refunds of 20% off in advance of their stay. We were offered NO COMPENSATION. --- YOU MUST REFUSE YOUR RESERVATION in order to obtain compensation from booking.com --- The owner did not inform of us EVER, property management contacted us at 2:42pm day of check in, when we were checking in at 3:00pm 2) UNIT Temperature.... HEAT HEAT HEAT HEAT HEAT..... Holy Moly, I hope you like your condo to be HOT, because this unit is HOT. Upon walking in, it felt like a sauna (Not exaggerating at all) We call maintenance immediately, who came a couple hours later. The unit only has radiant floor heating and NO AC. The unit was approx 88 degrees, when he came. Heaters were set to 41 degrees, the lowest they could be. --- This unit is directly above the gym/steam room. Those rooms have their thermostats set to 85degrees. The heat transfers through the floor and heats this unit. YOU CAN NOT PREVENT THIS. No matter what time of the year it is. --- There are three floor fans in the unit. because I'm sure it's UNBEARABLE during the warm seasons. *** WE SLEPT WITH THE BALCONY DOORS WIDE OPEN ALL NIGHT. WITH 10 degree outside TEMPS TO COOL THE UNIT. 3) Broken Oven 4) Broken Ice Maker 5) No Wifi **** STAY AWAY ****
