10.0Super stay at Allerdale. Lovely room/facilities. Breakfast was plentiful, cereals, fruit, jams & a hearty cooked breakfast by Mat that was delicious. Leigh & Mat are genuine, friendly people. Leigh is especially helpful in making suggestions of how where to go and explore when heading out.

10.0The hosts were gracious and helpful. They gave us hand made maps and narratives of the Lake District trails and hikes. Breakfast was exceptionally good. And the room was the most fantastically decorated and appoined ever! Cannot recommend this hotel enough!!!

10.0Perfect location 5 mins from the town centre Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean Comfy bed and hot shower plenty of drinks on the hospitality tray and bonus of a coffee machine with pods! Perfect breakfast with a good choice of cold buffet and cooked choices including the tastiest Cumberland sausage. Hosts Matt and Leigh very welcoming, Leigh is a font of local knowledge advice on walks providing maps and providing gorgeous homemade cake we didn’t need any lunch!

10.0Perfect location a short walk into town centre and lake, the property had great parking facilities. Delicious cooked breakfast with excellent choice of alternatives, attentive hosts that can’t do enough for you and great knowledge of area.
